DCA recently started work on a brand-new housing project in Steendonk, a suburb of Temse and a stone’s throw from the Scheldt. The East Flemish municipality has been highlighting its recreational assets to the fullest in recent years. Nature with its forests, polders, and grasslands already attracts cyclists and hikers to enjoy the peace and quiet.
Hoppe Residential Flats is a residential project with 38 flats, each bathed in light with its own spacious terrace. Main contractor DCA called on COMETAL to supply the formwork for the basement section. After a few discussions in which everything was put on a plan, the works could be started. The choice was made to work with the CICOM formwork, as these large-area panels have the advantage of being highly efficient in terms of installation due to their large surface area and because they have only four through holes. Because the panel is equipped with a tropical hardwood panel in one piece, the finish offers an even better result.
