Project Description

Climbing formwork

Used for high walls which are poured in different stages.

Climbing formwork is used for pouring high walls in different stages, if there is no blinding on one or two sides. In that case concrete is poured in layers and one climbs up along with the formwork. From the second layer onwards, the formwork is built on the climbing formwork.

There are 2 types of climbing formwork:

Climbing formwork 140: this has a running surface of 1.40 m and is mainly used for single-height formwork or on sites with little space.

Climbing formwork 240: this has a running surface of 2.40 m and is mainly used for multiple-height foemwork or in spaces where there is more room for movement.
